Purpose
The purpose of the mod is to force people to populate their world. It is recommended that you play this without any map mods and with structures turned off. The denÄnglens' recipes datapack (made by yours truly) is a good fit if you turn of structures since it gives alternative ways to gain shulkershells and heavy core.
Changes
Respawn
Whenever the player respawns, they will instead of returning to their spawnpoint be placed somewhere randomly within roughly ~20000 blocks of spawn. By default the datapack also warns the player when there is one day until they die.
Inevitable death
If you manage to stay alive for more than 5 in game days you will be killed, respawning you randomly according to the respawn logic.
Configuration
There is a file under the path "denanglens_mortalis/data/denanglens_mortalis/function/configuration.mcfunction" that includes options for configuring the mod and explanations for the settings. Some example of settings are:
- How long the player is allowed to stay alive
- How far away they can respawn
- If the player should be warned one day before they die
Other
This datapack is unlikely to go well with ones that manipulate the worldborder:
- This datapack sets the worldborder
- This datapack may respawn you outside the worldborder if it is to small
