Any Mushroom Recipe
Allows for any mushroom to be used in the recipes of stews. Free Minecraft Java datapack for 1.21, 1.21.1.
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
About
This small datapack allows you to use any kind of mushroom in the crafting recipes that require mushrooms.
All of the mushrooms are allowed in crafting:
- Brown Mushroom
- Red Mushroom
- Crimson Fungus
- Warped Fungus
The datapack affects recipes for further items:
- mushroom stew
- rabbit stew
- suspicious stew (all variants)
- fermented spider eye
Compatibility (BETA)
Working on compatibility for Better Nether and Better End
Applies to:
- Hook Mushroom (Better Nether)
- Chorus Mushroom (Better End)
- Bolux Mushroom (Better End)
Game Version
v1.0 works only with 1.21.8 v1.1 works with 1.21 and some versions prior
Tips for Adjustment
If you want to remove the nether fungi from the recipes:
- Go to the datapack folder:
...\data\minecraft\tags\item - Open
any_mushroom.json - Remove the items you don't want to be use
- Go to
...\data\minecraft\recipe - Remove further files:
rabbit_stew_from_crimson_fungus.jsonrabbit_stew_from_warped_fungus.json
