Wall Crawling Enchantment

Want a way to climb up walls just like Minecraft spiders do?
Enchant your leggings with Wall Crawling and you can do just that.

Simply stand next to and face towards a column of blocks while looking up slightly and you'll quickly rise alongside it until you're just above the top.

Climbing uneven walls such as in the nether may take some practice to fully master the technique.

Be careful as the enchantment does not reduce fall damage, though you can start climbing part way down a wall to save yourself from falling.

This enchantment is super useful for scaling steep mountains or ravines, travelling up and down in the overworld or the nether and climbing on top of tall builds to continue building, for example.

This enchantment can only be applied to leggings.

The wall crawling enchantment is a treasure enchantment meaning it can only be found in structure chests (e.g. desert pyramids, ancient cities, strongholds), by fishing, or by trading with Librarian villagers.

Using the following command in creative mode will enchant a pair of leggings that is held in your main hand.
/enchant @s wall_crawling:wall_crawling
