The End without a doubt is the least developed dimension in game. It remained untouched since 2016, even though it has so much potential both aesthethically and feature-wise. The problem about the End is by making it an interesting place one strips it also from its core - as in my humble opinion End is meant to be desolate, yet by such characteristic unusual from the rest of game. So this datapack is focused more on the general appearance of the dimension, not its "usefulness" or content (albeit at some point I may consider adding some structures or anything else engaging the player)
Summary
- Added a pair of pseudo-structures (purely decorational)
- Improved appearance of Chorus forests
- Introduced believable and vanilla-friendly ecosystem
- Redesigned Endstone and Chorus Plant
Planned Feautures
- More variated land in means of natural structures (e.g. craters, exhausted/frozen lava lakes, asteroids, vegetation)
- Biomes (such as deserts, ashlands, forests, all made to make End less predictable but still vacant of any meaningful form of life)
- New entities (vanilla and lore-friendly, or at least believable)
- New structures (with emphasis on that End Cities are still most important structures in the dimension)
Requirements
It is not purely mandatory for datapack to be functional, however I highly suggest downloading the provided texture pack, which by itself requires either Optifine or Continuity to work as intented.
