Better Pillager Outpost
Better Pillager Outpost (BPO) is a straightforward datapack using completely vanilla resources, that replaces the default Pillager Outpost that generates with a brand new iteration. (If using this on a currently existing world, it will only apply to Outposts generated in new chunks.)
In the future, this will be integrated into a mod project currently being called "Pillage'd", which will have additional & enhanced features.
Features:
All New Tower: This new design is more menacing, better befitting of the Pillagers. It also includes multiple customized spawners inside to up the challenge. Watch out, because now some Vindicators can spawn here as well!
New Misc. Structure Elements: Updated cages for the Allays & Iron Golems, separate food & sleeping tents, lantern posts, and more!
Overhauled Loot Tables: Gone are the days of disappointing loot in these outposts. You'll now find a combination of barrels & chests with much more reasonable loot in proportion to the challenge provided & general structure rarity, including emeralds, amethyst, & even the occasional village bell!
Mini Boss: At the top of each tower, players can now find the Outpost Captain waiting, providing a slight additional challenge & touch of detail.
Installation:
Simply download the zip file that matches the MC version you want (currently this is only for 1.21.1), access your world's datapacks folder, & move the zip file into there. Then save & start up your world.
