Humble Home aims to make your first days more memorable by extending the early game. Wooden and stole tools are gone, a campfire is your first workstation, and your first crafting table is a milestone!

INSTALLATION INFO

Installing

• This Datapack WILL rely on a corresponding Resource Pack.
• Upon first installing, this datapack will turn on the "doLimitedCrafting" gamerule. You can simply turn it off with the /gamerule command.

Uninstalling

• The datapack can simply be deleted without any bugs, leftover entities, or performance changes. The items (the shields, flint pick, and copper chisel) will not be removed though. Chainmail armor will also not be reverted to vanilla.

FEATURES

To make the experience more immersive, there is a new tab in your in game advancements. If you're stuck, you can open it and hover over icons to get hints relating to the datapack. Try to use that first before resorting to this list!

Progression

• Wood tools do not exist.
• Flint Picks are a fusion of the Wooden Sword, Pickaxe, and Axe. It has 10 durability.
• Campfires are made with 2 Logs, Coal, and a Sapling. They start off unlit.
• Start a fire with a Stick and Flint (or a Flint Pick). Hold both items and then swap between them [F] to attempt to ignite the block in front of you.
• Turn Clay into Bricks on a Campfire to craft a Brick Furnace.
• Leather Armor is partially made out of wool.
• Sheep will only drop string if killed.
• Raw Iron and Gold only gives you a nugget when smelted, but Iron/Gold ores now give 3 Raw Ores. Silk Touched Ores give the whole ingot.
• Copper ores only drop 1 raw copper.
• Planks can only be crafted with stripped logs.
• Craft a Copper Chisel to strip wood. It can also be used to silk touch ores, though very slowly.
• Stone Tools have been replaced by Copper Tools.
• All Tools need 2 string, and all Armor need a Leather Base to craft.
• Shields come in wood, copper, and iron tier. Each with 3x more durability than the last.
• Chainmail Armor is craftable, but now with durability between Leather and Iron.
• Gold Pickaxes can mine any ore, and it drops the whole ore as if silk touched.

MISC / GENERAL

Campfire Recipes

• Torches are crafted by placing Sticks on Campfires. Torches can also turn other Sticks into Torches in a crafting grid.
• Logs can be turned into Charcoale.
• Coal/Charcoal can be turned into Fire Charges.
• Rotten Flesh can be turned into Leather.

Plank Recipes

• 2 Planks craft 16 Sticks. Saplings craft the usual 4.
• (2) Doors need two iron nuggets and two slabs.
• (2) Trapdoors need an iron nugget and a slab.
• Chests and Barrels require Iron (Nuggets) to craft.

Other Recipes

• 2 Wheat can be turned into 2 string.
• Bread is made by cooking Wheat in a Furnace (Smoker not included).
• Iron/Gold Tools are repaired with Nuggets.
• Lodestones are made with an Iron Ingot rather than Netherite.

Drops

• Nether Gold Ore drops 1-3 Nuggets.
• Natural Iron Golems don't drop Iron. Player Made Golems drop an Iron Block.
• Gravel Flint chance increased, Gravel can now also drop Iron Nuggets.
