Unstable Death Ban
A lightweight deathban plugin inspired by UNSTABLE SMP, featuring custom death sound effects and configurable death-message visibility based on distance.
⬇ Download on ModrinthUnstable DeathBan is a simple deathban plugin made for hardcore and semi-hardcore SMP servers. It is inspired by UNSTABLE SMP and bans players when they die, while still keeping things fair and easy to understand.
When a player dies, they get kicked first so the death message can show properly, then they are permanently banned with a red ban message. Players near the death will hear a custom death sound.
Death messages are not global. Only players close enough will see them, so chat stays clean. Everything can be changed in the config.yml, so you can set the distances, sounds, and messages however you want.
