What does this do?
Basically it makes so that you can pvp on servers like in vanilla and like you pvp on servers like donutsmp and mcpvp. It is a must for any pvp-centric paper server.
Why?
Paper prevents attribute swapping by default, which is a vanilla mechanic where swapping weapons within a few ticks of an attack mixes attributes from both items. This plugin makes it easy to toggle it on and off and it includes some additional fixes. With it enabled, you can:
- Use one weapon's base damage with another weapon's enchantments
- Perform breach swaps, cooldown bypasses, and other vanilla swap techniques
- Play with the same combat mechanics as vanilla Minecraft
Advanced users
For advanced users i recommend skipping this plugin and going into paper-global.yml and changing update-equipment-on-player-actions to false, this skips this plugin but you cant toggle it while the server is on.
