Vanish-X

Vanish-X is a feature-rich, high-performance vanish and server administration plugin designed for modern Minecraft servers (supporting 1.8 to the latest release). It provides packet-level invisibility, dual vanish modes, proxy synchronization, custom staff utilities, and a suite of anti-detection safeguards.

Requirements & Compatibility

• Minecraft Versions: 1.8 through the Latest Release.
• Server Platforms: Spigot, Paper, Purpur, and compatible forks.
• Primary Dependency (Optional but Recommended): ProtocolLib
  • Note: ProtocolLib is required for silent container opening, sound suppression, and packet-level visibility hiding.

Features

1. Dual-Engine Invisibility

• Normal Mode (Lite): Standard lightweight vanish. Hides you from the tablist and makes you invisible to players while preserving your current inventory, game mode, location, and hunger. Ideal for passive observation.
• Advanced Mode (Admin): Full isolation mode. Backs up your survival inventory, health, food, and experience, then applies an "Investigation Profile" (Creative mode, Fly, God mode, and interaction restrictions). Disables pressure plate triggers, item pickup, and crop trampling. Your original state is fully restored when unvanishing.
• Silent Shift: Swap between Normal and Advanced engines on the fly using /vanish mode without showing up on tab, generating sound, or displaying join/leave broadcasts.

2. Packet-Level Stealth (Requires ProtocolLib)

• Silent Containers: Open chests, Ender Chests, barrels, and shulker boxes silently without causing opening animations (lid movement) or playing sound effects.
• Ghost Status: Automatically suppresses block breaking/placing particles, item-drop animations, and player sounds (such as footsteps) for vanished admins.
• Scoreboard & Tab Desync: Hides vanished players from scoreboards, tab lists, and standard player lists.

3. Staff Mode & Investigation Utilities

• Staff Duty Toggle: Run /vanish staff to enter staff mode, which automatically vanishes you, grants fly/god mode, and gives customizable inspection tools in your hotbar:
  • Player Info Book: Right-click players to inspect detailed data.
  • Freeze Ice: Right-click to freeze a player in place.
  • RTP Compass: Right-click to teleport to a random player.
  • Inventory Chest: Inspect target player inventories in view-only mode.
  • Ender Chest: Inspect target player Ender Chests in view-only mode.
  • Follow Feather: Automatically stalk a target player and stay within a configured radius.
  • Settings Star: Opens the Vanish-X GUI control panel.
  • Exit Barrier: Safely exits staff mode and restores your inventory.
• Silent Teleportation: Teleport directly to players without footprints, sounds, or visual cues.
• Freeze System: Freeze rule-breakers on the spot to inspect them. Frozen players cannot move or send chat messages.

4. Anti-Detection & Safeguards

• Physical Isolation: Prevents triggering pressure plates, tripwires, detector rails, crop trampling, and redstone ore updates.
• Cobweb Bypass: Automatically fakes cobwebs as air for vanished staff to prevent movement slowdown.
• Tab-Complete Hiding: Vanished players do not show up in command tab-completion for normal players.
• Bypass Protections: Prevent vanished players from being targeted by aggressive mobs.
• Fake Network Messages: Manually broadcast fake join or fake leave messages to trick players while you toggle vanish.

5. Proxy Sync & Network Support

• Cross-server synchronization for BungeeCord or Velocity networks. Enable proxy sync in your config and define a secure sync-key to sync vanish states network-wide.

6. Interactive Settings GUI

• Access /vanish setting or /vanish gui to toggle settings dynamically (e.g., night vision, item pickup, hunger loss, pushable state, and particle suppression).

Installation

1. Download the Vanish-X.jar file.
2. (Optional but highly recommended) Download and install ProtocolLib.
3. Drag and drop the jar file(s) into your server's plugins folder.
4. Restart your server to generate the default configuration files.
5. Configure permissions in your permission plugin (e.g., LuckPerms).

• messages.yml: Completely customizable localization, colors, prefix, and error messages.
• staffmode.yml: Customize hotbar slot positions, materials, names, and lore for all Staff Mode items.

Proxy Configuration (BungeeCord / Velocity)

To synchronize vanish states network-wide:

1. Ensure Vanish-X is installed on all backend Spigot servers.
2. In the config.yml of all servers, set proxy.enabled to true.
3. Set the proxy.sync-key to the same secret string on all servers.
4. Ensure the backend servers use a bungee/velocity-compatible proxy setup.
