Simple Sit Animation (Paper/Spigot/Bukkit)

A lightweight Paper/Spigot/Bukkit plugin for Minecraft 1.16.5+ that adds a simple /sit command to sit anywhere.

Usage

In chat, run: /sit

• To sit: Type /sit and you'll sit at your current location
• To stand up: Type /sit again or press Shift to dismount

Available to all players by default.

How It Works

The plugin spawns an invisible armor stand at your location and makes you ride it. This creates an authentic sitting animation that looks exactly like sitting on slabs or stairs. The armor stand is:

• ✅ Invisible
• ✅ Has no gravity
• ✅ Invulnerable
• ✅ Automatically removed when you stand up or disconnect
