AchievementsExpandWorldborder

Which build do you need?

This mod ships a separate file for every mod loader and every version of the game. Pick both, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game.

Mod loader

Minecraft version

⬇ Download for 1.19–1.21.11 · Paper⬇ Download for 1.19.1–1.21.4 · Bukkit
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

AchievementsExpandWorldborder

A simple Bukkit plugin that expands the worldborder when new Achievements / Advancements are unlocked. Works with BlazeandCave's Advancements Datapack

Why did I create this?

I was looking for a similar project to this, but couldn't find any that worked, so I just decided to make one myself

How to use

Since the world border doesn't activate before you gain an advancement, here's a short guide on how to start your world.

  1. Install BlazeandCave's Advancements Datapack. While this isn't mandatory, it makes the experience much better
  2. Find a good place for your spawn.
  3. Run /worldborder center ~ ~ ~
  4. Get your first advancement, either using /advancement grant, or by getting one normally.
  5. Change the world border size if needed using /amount

Commands

/amount

Changes how many blocks the world border increases per achievement. Supports decimals (such as 0.5)

/sync

Synchronizes the world border size with the world border amount.

/advancements

Get the amount of advancements unlocked

/settings

Change a setting

Settings

To view up-to-date settings, run /settings to view available settings, and their description

Permissions

Version support

The plugin should work on any Minecraft version which uses java 16 or later. The plugin has been tested on 1.21.4, 1.20.4, and 1.16.5
