EmojiCrafter is a Paper plugin that allows you to add any 16px high emoji icon to your server, with shortcuts like :) and :smile:

How to use
To create emojis, first place the emoji image in the folder ~/plugins/EmojiCrafter/emojis, then give them an entry in ~/plugins/EmojiCrafter/emojis.yml, where you provide the path to the image and shortcuts to replace with the image.
To use emojis players must have the permission emojicrafter.default, which everyone has by default - though this can be disabled using permission plugins such as LuckPerms.
The plugin contains a 'smile' emoji as an example by default, though you can remove or change this if you want.
