PrivacyLock

Which build do you need?

This mod ships a separate file for every mod loader and every version of the game. Pick both, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game.

Mod loader

Minecraft version

⬇ Download for 1.21.5–26.2 · Bukkit⬇ Download for 1.21.5–26.2 · Paper⬇ Download for 1.21.5–26.2 · Spigot⬇ Download for 1.21.5–1.21.11 · Purpur
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

No performance impact on your server ** Why Choose PrivacyLock?**

In today's Minecraft servers, player privacy has become increasingly important. Server operators need to balance monitoring for inappropriate behavior while respecting legitimate private conversations. This plugin provides the perfect middle ground - it allows private messaging to remain truly private, while still enabling optional administrative oversight through configurable logging options.

PrivacyLock solves a common issue that many server owners face: how to protect player privacy while maintaining server security. Rather than displaying sensitive messages in console logs that might be viewed by multiple staff members or logged to files, this plugin ensures private communications remain private.

Installation & Setup

Download the plugin JAR file and place it in your server's plugins folder

Restart your server or use /reload (full restart recommended)

Configure the plugin by editing the config.yml file

Use /privacylock reload to apply changes

The default configuration works out-of-the-box for most servers, blocking common messaging commands from console display.

Permissions

privacylock.admin - Access to plugin commands and configuration

privacylock.bypass - Commands from users with this permission will show in console

privacylock.notify - Receive notifications when protected commands are used

PrivacyLock is perfect for survival servers, roleplay communities, or any Minecraft server where player privacy matters. Give your players the confidence that their private conversations stay private!
