Secure Block Inventories

What does this plugin do?

This simple plugin allows all players in survival or adventure mode to lock block inventories (Chests, Furnaces, Barrels, etc.) by right-clicking on them while sneaking. Only the player that has locked a block can access and destroy the block in survival or adventure mode.

Settings

By default, hoppers will not be able to extract items from locked blocks but this can be changed by changing the content of the file ./SecureBlockInventories/settings/disable_hoppers_for_locked_blocks to 'false'.

The file ./SecureBlockInventories/settings/protect_locked_blocks_against_explosions allows to set whether locked blocks should be imune to explosions or not. (Immune by default)

To prevent abuse, there is a per player limit on how many blocks can be locked. Every player can lock up to 16 blocks by default but the limit can be set in the file ./SecureBlockInventories/settings/max_locks_per_player.

What if a locked block needs to be removed?

An admin can remove a locked block by simply breaking it in creative mode or by deleting the matching location in the SecureBlockInventories/locks directory.

Designed for SMP-Servers

Locked blocks can always be accessed by players in creative or spectator mode.
