StorageSaver is a lightweight, high-performance Minecraft server plugin designed to automatically clean up unused region files (.mca) to reclaim valuable disk space.

When players explore your world (e.g., flying with Elytras), the server generates huge amounts of terrain data. Usually, these chunks are only visited once and never again, unnecessarily bloating your world folder. StorageSaver resolves this issue by purging temporary exploration chunks while permanently protecting player bases, builds, and containers.

  • Places or breaks blocks
  • Interacts with containers (Chests, Shulker Boxes, Furnaces, etc.)
  • Interacts with Redstone components (Buttons, Levers, Plates, etc.)
  • Stays in the area for a configurable amount of cumulative time (e.g., 10 minutes)
• Per-World Setup: Keeps separate data tracking and whitelists for each individual world.
• Safety First: Currently loaded chunks or recently modified files are skipped automatically to prevent data corruption.
