vWaypoint

vWaypoint is a lightweight navigation plugin that guides players toward coordinates, WorldGuard regions and specific MythicMobs using a customizable actionbar.

Players receive a directional arrow, waypoint name and remaining distance without needing to open menus. It is designed primarily for quests, adventure servers and guided exploration.

Support the Project

vWaypoint is developed and maintained as part of the vPlugins project. If the plugin helps your server, consider supporting future updates, bug fixes, documentation and new vPlugins projects.

Main Features

Waypoint Types

Coordinate

Guides the player toward a specific location using its world, X, Y and Z coordinates.

The waypoint completes when the player reaches the configured completion radius.

WorldGuard Region

Guides the player toward the nearest valid point of a WorldGuard region.

The waypoint completes when the player enters the region.

MythicMob

Tracks a specific MythicMob selected by an administrator.

The waypoint completes when the player reaches the configured distance from the mob. If the target dies or disappears, tracking is automatically stopped.

Actionbar

The actionbar displays the direction, waypoint name and rounded distance:

⬆ Destination | 16m

Its format, update interval, colors and arrows can be customized in config.yml.

With ProtocolLib installed, vWaypoint temporarily hides its actionbar when another plugin displays one and restores the waypoint afterward.

BetonQuest Integration

vWaypoint registers a native BetonQuest action:

waypoint <id>

This allows quests to start waypoints directly for players without requiring them to execute commands.

Optional Integrations

vWaypoint has no required plugin dependencies. Features associated with optional integrations are enabled when their respective plugins are installed.
