SpongeAPI is a compatibility layer designed to translate Sponge plugins into a format that Bukkit-based servers can understand. The goal is to provide an easy way to use Sponge plugins without needing to switch server software.

Installation

Why SpongeAPI?
Many great Sponge plugins exist, but most Bukkit-based servers cannot use them. SpongeAPI aims to bridge that gap by translating Sponge functionality into Bukkit-compatible behavior.
This project is the spiritual successor to SpongeForBukkit, with a focus on modern Minecraft versions and active development.

SpongeAPI is under active development. Features, APIs, and compatibility may change between releases.
