AdvancedHardcore

AHC brings a true hardcore experience to any server without forcing hardcore mode. When a player dies, instead of instantly respawning they are placed into spectator mode and must wait out a cooldown timer before returning to the world.

Commands:

• /ahc help - show command list
• /ahc reload - reload cfg
• /ahc setlimit - set death limit
• /ahc setcd - base cooldown (20min - 1440 min)
• /ahc advanced <true/false> - toggle progressive cooldown
• /ahc display <BOSS_BAR/ACTION_BAR/TITLE> timer type
• /ahc respawn - early-respawn a player
• /ahc reset - fully reset deaths and cooldown
• /ahc status - show status of all players

How it works

On death, the player is automatically switched to spectator mode. A countdown timer appears on screen showing exactly how long until they can respawn. Once the timer expires, the player is automatically returned to survival and teleported to their bed or the world spawn if no bed is found.

Progressive cooldown system

The cooldown can be set to increase with each death. With a base cooldown of 60 minutes, the first death costs 1 hour, the second 2 hours, the third 3 hours — making every life feel genuinely precious. Or keep it simple with a fixed cooldown that never changes.

Death limit

Set a maximum number of deaths per player. Once reached, the player becomes a permanent spectator until an administrator manually resets them. Perfect for seasonal hardcore servers or challenge runs.

Fully configurable

Every aspect of the plugin is configurable through simple commands. No need to edit files manually — change the cooldown, death limit, timer display style and more all from in-game.

Per-player language support

Each player can choose their own language with /chc setlang. Currently supported: English and Russian.

Timer display styles

Choose how the countdown is shown to waiting players — a subtle action bar above the hotbar, a bold title in the center of the screen, or a boss bar at the top.

Admin commands

Administrators can view the status of every player, manually respawn someone early, or fully reset a player's death count — all with tab-completion support.
