Tired of using external web tools like Chunkbase just to find a village? Village Compass is a lightweight, highly optimized server-side plugin that allows players to craft a special compass to locate the nearest village in real-time.

🛠️ Crafting Recipe

The recipe is completely shapeless (you can place the items anywhere on the crafting grid):

• 1x Compass
• 1x Emerald

Once crafted, you will receive your specialized Village Compass!

🌍 Real-Time Client Translation

This plugin features an intelligent localization system that checks the player's game language every second (20 ticks). The item name and its lore will dynamically translate inside your inventory without any commands!

Currently Supported Languages:

• 🇪🇸 Spanish: "Brújula de Aldeas" with localized chat messages.
• 🇺🇸 English: "Village Compass" with a clean default interface.
• 🇯🇵 日本語: 「村のコンパス」 Full native text support.
• 🇨🇳 中文: 「村庄指南针」 Full native text support.

⚡ Performance & Technical Features

• Zero Server Lag: The heavy structure-searching logic (locateNearestStructure) only runs exactly when a player right-clicks. The background translation task uses 0% CPU as it only reads already saved data.
• GeyserMC Bedrock Support: Since the plugin utilizes purely native items and text components, Bedrock Edition players (mobile, console) can use it perfectly, and the compass needle will point accurately on their screens.
• Highly Compatible: Built on top of the stable StructureType API, ensuring compatibility across modern Paper and Purpur releases.
