Loom

One web panel to install and configure every Paper plugin on your server.

What Loom does

Loom turns your server's plugins/ folder into a clean web dashboard. After dropping the jar into your server, you get one URL where you can:

• Browse and install plugins from Modrinth and SpigotMC with one click. Loom downloads the jar straight into your plugins/ folder. Modrinth downloads are SHA-512 verified before they land.
• Configure any plugin through a smart file editor. Pick a file from that plugin's folder (any .yml, .json, .txt, or .properties, including nested sub-folders), then edit it as a structured Form view or as Raw YAML with syntax highlighting. Every save creates a timestamped backup, with one-click restore.
• Uninstall plugins from either the Plugins page or the Marketplace. The jar is removed and the config folder is kept for next time.
• Manage server identity (optional, off by default). Turn on to let Loom auto-replace the vanilla MOTD and drop in a default server-icon.png. Includes a smart MOTD editor with a color-swatch toolbar and a live preview of how players see it in their server list.
• Restart the server from the dashboard. The page reconnects automatically when the server is back. Your sign-in survives a restart or a reload.

You sign in via a magic link sent in chat by /loom. Sessions persist on disk, so a reload or restart never kicks you out.

Install

1. Drop Loom-26.5.1a.jar into your server's plugins/ folder.
2. Start the server. The console will print:

   [Loom] Loom listening on http://127.0.0.1:7654
   

3. Join as op, type /loom in chat, click the magic link.

Commands

Command	What it does
/loom (alias /lm)	Send a one-shot magic link to the dashboard, valid 30 min.
/loom token	Show the current admin token. Click to copy.
/loom rotate	Issue a new admin token and sign every browser session out.
/loom revoke	Sign every browser session out. The token stays the same.
/loom reload	Reload Loom's own config.yml.

Permission: loom.admin (defaults to op).

Compatibility

• Paper API 26.1.x and the matching Minecraft version (1.21.x at the time of writing).
• Java 21+ (the test rig runs on Java 26 with no issues).
• Plugin search filters strictly to Paper, Spigot, Bukkit, Purpur, and Folia loaders. Fabric and Forge mods never appear in the marketplace and can't be installed by mistake.

Versioning

YY.M.fix calendar versioning, with a trailing a for alpha builds.

• 26.5.1 means May 2026, fix 1.
• 26.5.1a is the alpha cut of the same.

License

All Rights Reserved. Free to download and run on your own server, but Loom (source, jar, assets) may not be redistributed, repackaged, or resold without written permission. Full text in the LICENSE file.

Bundled open-source dependencies (Paper API, Javalin, Jackson, SLF4J, Kyori Adventure, Monocraft font) remain under their own permissive licenses, preserved inside the jar under META-INF/.
