Tracked Items is a Minecraft server plugin designed to track the original owner of valuable equipment and clearly show whether an item is still with its rightful owner, has been stored away, or is currently being held by another player.

How It Works In-Game

When a player crafts a supported item, the item is marked as theirs. When a player picks up a supported item, the plugin checks whether it already has an owner. If it does not, the player picking it up becomes the owner. If it already has an owner, the plugin checks whether the player is the original owner or someone else.

When players move items around their inventory, place items into containers, close inventories, drop items, or pick items up again, the plugin refreshes the item’s status. This helps keep the ownership information accurate as items move through the world.

If a player kills another player and receives their dropped gear, tracked items that do not belong to the killer are marked as STOLEN. This makes PvP loot immediately identifiable as belonging to another player.
