⬇ Download on ModrinthDeathChest is a powerful Minecraft plugin that transforms the way player deaths are handled. When a player dies, a single chest block is placed at a safe nearby location—never destroying existing blocks. Although it appears as a normal chest in the world, interacting with it opens a full double-chest inventory with 54 slots, ensuring all dropped items are preserved. The plugin features immersive particle effects and sound on spawn, and protects the chest from explosions such as TNT or creepers. A configurable timer automatically removes the chest after a set duration, which can be adjusted in-game using the /deathchesttime <minutes> command. This lightweight, performance-friendly plugin is fully compatible with Paper 1.21+, and includes a clean config.yml and plugin.yml for easy setup. Ideal for survival servers, RPG worlds, or any gameplay where item recovery matters.
