StonecutterPlus

StonecutterPlus is a vanilla-style survival expansion plugin for Paper and Purpur servers.
It expands the stonecutter, crafting table, furnace, inventory 2x2 crafting grid, and several survival mechanics while staying close to the feel of vanilla Minecraft.

The main goal of the plugin is to make survival progression more practical, consistent, and interesting without turning the game into a fully modded experience.

What the plugin includes

Expanded stonecutter

StonecutterPlus adds many extra stonecutter recipes for wood, bamboo, sand, blackstone, mud, mossy cobblestone, glass panes, and multiple stone families.

It also includes:

• configurable reverse conversions
• strict recipe costs
• wood and bamboo balancing
• extra dirt-related conversions
• optional missing block family support

Crafting improvements

The plugin adds many extra crafting recipes and survival quality-of-life recipes, including:

• chainmail armor
• saddles
• horse armor
• name tags
• cobwebs
• quartz and amethyst conversions
• slab and stair conversions
• gravel and flint conversions
• suspicious stew crafting
• improved 2x2 inventory crafting support

Furnace improvements

Additional furnace, blast furnace, and smoker recipes are included, such as:

• raw ore blocks
• rotten flesh to leather
• crying obsidian to obsidian
• concrete powder conversions
• other configurable smelting improvements

Mini Blocks

StonecutterPlus supports Mini Blocks and adds a custom treasure enchantment, Mini Blocks I.

This enchantment:

• cannot be obtained from the enchantment table
• can appear from villagers and loot structures
• works on tools through an anvil
• is designed to work together with Silk Touch
• makes blocks drop mini versions based on vanilla-style drop behavior

Custom items

The plugin also includes custom survival items:

• Armored Elytra
• Armored Netherite Elytra
• Ender Backpack

These items are designed to fit vanilla-style gameplay instead of feeling like unrelated modded gear.

Survival mechanics

StonecutterPlus also adds extra survival mechanics such as:

• piston slime removal and reapplication
• mossy cobblestone and vine interactions
• phantom membrane drop control
• silent mob name tags
• disenchanting in anvils
• unlimited anvil cost handling
• cauldron item transformations
• Silk Touch support for budding amethyst
• named mob name tag drops

Head drops

The plugin supports configurable head drops and can work together with datapacks such as AllMobHeads.
Head drop chances are configurable, and the system is designed to avoid unnecessary duplication when the datapack is already handling the drop.

Configuration

StonecutterPlus is highly configurable.

You can enable or disable:

• stonecutter content
• crafting table recipes
• furnace recipes
• 2x2 inventory crafting
• mini blocks
• head systems
• custom items
• disenchanting
• Vane integration

Stonecutter-related settings are grouped into a dedicated stonecutter config section to keep everything easier to manage.

Vane integration

Vane integration is optional.

If you install Vane, StonecutterPlus can support compatibility recipes and item interactions such as:

• Armored Netherite Elytra compatibility
• Vane-related smithing behavior
• additional custom item compatibility

If you do not use Vane, the plugin can still work on its own.

Resource pack

The plugin can optionally offer a resource pack to players on join.
A clean resource pack version without the Minecv menu and tab logo is also available.
