Url=mapart! v1.0 — Overview The Url=mapart! is a lightweight, high-performance solution for Minecraft servers that allows players to transform static internet images into in-game map art. Designed with server stability in mind, it provides a simple way to decorate your world with custom posters, logos, and signs.
Key Features Static Image Conversion: Instantly downloads and scales any valid image (JPG, PNG) from a direct URL onto a 128x128 Minecraft map.
Persistent Map Data: Unlike many basic tools, this plugin uses a dedicated maps.yml file to store map IDs and their original URLs. This ensures your custom artwork reloads perfectly after ogni server restart or crash.
Asynchronous Processing: The heavy lifting of downloading and resizing images happens in the background, ensuring that your server's TPS (Ticks Per Second) stays high and players don't experience lag.
Customizable Configuration: A built-in config.yml gives you full control over chat messages (with Hex color support) and lets you toggle whether the command is restricted to Operators (OPs).
Important Details No GIF Support: This plugin is specialized for high-quality static images and does not support animated GIFs.
URL Requirements: To work, you must use a direct image link (the web address must end in a file extension like .png, .jpg, or .jpeg).
Quick Start Guide Installation: Place ImageMapPlugin-1.0.jar into your server’s /plugins/ folder and restart.
Usage: Hold a blank spot in your inventory and type:
/getmap
Display: Once the map appears in your hand, place it in an Item Frame to showcase your art!
