Monster Boat AI reworks how hostile mobs interact with boats, eliminating one of the most overpowered and unrealistic trapping mechanics in Minecraft.
In vanilla gameplay, boats completely neutralize dangerous mobs, turning combat into a joke. Monster Boat AI introduces intelligent, configurable behavior so monsters can resist, escape, or destroy boats based on server-defined rules.

Monster Boat AI allows you to control:
- Which mobs can enter boats
- Which mobs will exit boats when damaged
- Which mobs can break boats
- Chance-based escape and destruction mechanics
- Per-entity configuration
- Server-side only (no client mods required)
Gameplay Impact
Boats are no longer free mob prisons.
Endermen, Zombies, Skeletons, and other monsters will behave more realistically:
- Some will refuse to enter boats.
- Some will escape when attacked.
- Some will destroy boats entirely.
This restores danger, balance, and immersion to survival gameplay.
Fully Configurable
Every mob’s behavior is configurable via config.yml, including:
- Enter chance
- Exit chance when damaged
- Break chance when damaged
