🌍 What Is a Provider?
In Rusty Smart, a Provider is an adapter that connects the Smart module to a specific infrastructure system.
Providers are what make Smart cloud-agnostic — they translate Smart’s scaling logic into actions your platform understands (create, delete, or monitor servers).
The Pterodactyl Provider adds support for the Pterodactyl Panel, allowing Smart to create and delete Minecraft servers directly through its API.
It requires admin API access to manage servers automatically.
⚙️ Compatibility
This provider works with:
- Pterodactyl Panel v1.0+ (admin API key required)
- Any Egg configured on your Pterodactyl instance
- RustyConnector and Rusty Smart Module
🧱 Installation
- Place the
.jarfile inside therc-modulesfolder of your Minecraft Proxy. - Restart your RustyConnector kernel.
- Configure your Pterodactyl credentials in the config file.
- Smart will start managing your servers dynamically.
