Vanish | SIR+ Addon

✦ About

Vanish expands SIR+ with its own self-contained vanish engine. Staff can hide from players, manage visibility levels, inspect containers silently, stay vanished across relogs and control vanish directly through SIR+'s addon, command, scheduler, text and placeholder systems.

The addon can work as SIR+'s primary vanish source, while the Vanish coordinator can also detect supported external vanish providers such as PremiumVanish, SuperVanish, CMI and Essentials depending on your configuration.

Additional permissions:

• sir.vanish.autojoin - Automatically vanish on join when enabled.
• sir.vanish.see - See vanished players when level mode is disabled.
• sir.vanish.level.<n> - Maximum level a player can vanish at.
• sir.vanish.see.<n> - Maximum vanish level a player can see.

✦ Vanish Levels

Vanish levels let you create a staff visibility hierarchy.

A player hidden at level 5 can only be seen by viewers whose see level is 5 or higher. This is useful for separating helpers, moderators, admins and owners without giving every staff member the same visibility power.

Example:

• A moderator with sir.vanish.see.3 can see vanished players up to level 3.
• An admin with sir.vanish.see.7 can see vanished players up to level 7.
• A player with sir.vanish.level.5 can choose vanish levels up to 5.

✦ Silent Containers

When enabled, vanished staff can open supported containers silently.

Chests, barrels and shulkers are opened through a mirror view, preventing the normal open animation and sound from revealing the staff member. Edits are written back safely, and external changes can be refreshed at a configurable interval.

✦ Placeholders

If PlaceholderAPI is installed, the addon registers the sir_vanish expansion.

• %sir_vanish_status% - Returns true or false.
• %sir_vanish_state% - Returns Vanished or Visible.
• %sir_vanish_level% - Returns the player's current vanish level.
• %sir_vanish_count% - Returns the number of vanished players online.

• Choose the active vanish provider order.
• Enable or disable auto-vanish on join.
• Configure vanish levels and level permissions.
• Enable or disable silent containers.
• Configure disabled worlds.
• Hide vanished players from player count, /list and /who where supported.
• Suppress death messages and advancements.
• Enable or disable no damage, no pickup, no collision and no mob targeting.
• Configure flight, night vision and state restoration.
• Edit reminders using chat, action bar, boss bar, title or subtitle output.
• Edit every message, prefix and staff notification.
• Use legacy colors, HEX colors and MiniMessage formatting.

Edit config.yml for behavior settings and lang.yml for all player-facing messages.

✦ Optional Packet Support

The addon works with Bukkit's native visibility system by default.

For packet-level polish such as improved player-count handling, advancement suppression and projectile hiding, install ProtocolLib or PacketEvents if supported by your server version.

✦ Installation

1. Install and start SIR+.
2. Download the Vanish addon JAR.
3. Place the JAR in the addons folder inside your SIR+ data folder.
4. Restart your server or manage the addon through the SIR+ addon manager.
5. Configure config.yml and lang.yml.

Important: This addon will not load without SIR+.
