SMPStocks - Crypto and Stocks with dividends!

This has only been tested on paper 26.1.2. Please let me know in the comments if it works on other versions.

SMPStocks allows players to buy and sell real stocks and cryptocurrencies using their Vault economy balance through an easy-to-use chest GUI. Prices can be pulled from live market data, portfolios track profits and losses, dividends and staking rewards are paid automatically, and admins have powerful tools to monitor and manage the server economy.

Requirements

IMPORTANT - API Setup
Before using live stock prices, you must create a free Finnhub API key.

1. Create a free account at Finnhub.
2. Open plugins/SMPStocks/config.yml
3. Replace:

finnhub-key: "PASTE_YOUR_FINNHUB_KEY_HERE"

with your API key.
4. Restart the server or run:

/stocksadmin reload

Without a Finnhub API key, stock prices will use fallback values.

Price Scaling
Minecraft economies usually cannot support real-world prices like:

• BTC = $115,000+
• BRK.A = $700,000+

To keep investing accessible, SMPStocks scales prices by default.

Example:

• Real BTC: $115,000
• In-game BTC: $1,150

Admins can change scaling values in config.yml to match their server economy or even use full real-world prices.

P.s. This is my first ever plugin for minecraft, coming from DayZ scripting, this is a bit of a change. If you have any other ideas, or general feedback regarding this plugin, please leave your feedback below.

If there is another way that I can pull the current market prices, please let me know, I just don't feel totally great about shipping my own key with the plugin.
