What is ProSewers?
ProSewers is a procedural underground sewer network generator designed for Minecraft roleplay, city and survival servers.
Instead of manually building underground tunnels block by block, administrators can place nodes throughout roads, sidewalks, intersections and important city locations, then connect those nodes to automatically generate a complete underground sewer network.
The plugin creates large walkable tunnels, underground chambers, access shafts, manholes, drainage canals, pipes, leaks, maintenance areas, dirty walls, aged structures and interconnected routes beneath your city.
ProSewers 2.0.0 introduces a redesigned generation engine, a graphical node editor, private debug holograms, safer world modification, optional WorldGuard integration and improved tools for managing large sewer networks.
It is perfect for:
- Modern roleplay cities
- Police chases
- Criminal escapes
- Hidden city routes
- Rat / monster areas
- Secret bases
- Underground missions
- Urban exploration
- Maintenance worker roleplay
- Event zones
- Horror areas
- Smuggling routes
- Hidden entrances

Designed for Roleplay
ProSewers is not just a tunnel generator.
It is designed to create usable underground gameplay areas beneath your existing city.
Players can:
- Escape from police through underground routes.
- Use manholes to enter or leave the sewer network.
- Hide inside maintenance alcoves.
- Move between important city districts underground.
- Explore abandoned sewer sections.
- Encounter rats, monsters or NPCs.
- Discover secret bases and hidden rooms.
- Use underground routes during missions and events.
- Create criminal smuggling routes.
- Use sewer chambers as meeting or combat locations.
Administrators can build an entire underground network beneath a large city using commands or the new graphical management interface.

Node Management GUI
ProSewers 2.0.0 includes a complete graphical interface for managing sewer nodes.
Open it using:
Code (Text):
/prosewers gui
- View all sewer nodes
- Browse large networks using pages
- See node coordinates
- See sewer depth
- See connections
- Teleport to the surface
- Teleport directly into the sewer
- Increase or decrease node depth
- Regenerate a node chamber
- Rename nodes
- Toggle debug mode
- Delete nodes using Shift + Click protection
Node names can contain readable names such as:
Code (Text):
Police Station - Main Entrance
Central Avenue
Industrial District
Metro Entrance
Example:
Code (Text):
Internal ID:
police_station_01
Visible Name:
Police Station - Main Entrance

Visual Debug Mode
Administrators can visually inspect the sewer network using private debug holograms.
Enable them with:
Code (Text):
/prosewers debug on
Code (Text):
Central Avenue
ID: central_avenue
Y sewer: 45
Connections: 3
- Above the surface node
- Inside the underground sewer chamber
Debug displays use Minecraft TextDisplay entities and are only visible to the administrator who enabled them.
Commands:
Code (Text):
/prosewers debug
/prosewers debug on
/prosewers debug off
/prosewers debug refresh
How it Works
Create a node on the surface:
Code (Text):
/prosewers node create central_avenue
Code (Text):
Sewer Y = Surface Y - Depth
Code (Text):
Depth = 30 blocks
Code (Text):
/prosewers node rename central_avenue Central Avenue
Code (Text):
/prosewers node create city_hall
Code (Text):
/prosewers connect central_avenue city_hall true
If the nodes have different underground Y levels, the generator distributes the height difference through the tunnel instead of creating disconnected sections.

Directional Node Connections
Nodes support up to four connections by default.
ProSewers 2.0.0 can enforce directional connection slots:
Code (Text):
NORTH
SOUTH
EAST
WEST
The system is configurable from:
Code (Text):
settings.max-connections-per-node
settings.enforce-directional-slots
Default Visual Style
The default generation uses an old underground urban infrastructure style.
Default palettes use blocks such as:
- Deepslate Bricks
- Cracked Deepslate Bricks
- Deepslate Tiles
- Cracked Deepslate Tiles
- Polished Deepslate
- Stone Bricks
- Cracked Stone Bricks
- Mossy Stone Bricks
- Cobblestone
- Mossy Cobblestone
- Tuff Bricks
- Mud Bricks
- Mud
- Packed Mud
- Gravel
- Coarse Dirt
- Moss
- Iron Bars
- Copper
- Water
- Sea Lanterns
- Ladders
- Iron Trapdoors
Everything can be customized from config.yml.
You can create:
- Old abandoned sewers
- Modern maintenance tunnels
- Underground caves
- Industrial drainage systems
- Metro-style service tunnels
- Post-apocalyptic underground networks

Performance
ProSewers 2.0.0 includes a redesigned incremental generation engine.
Older versions could prepare very large amounts of block operations before generation began.
The new system processes the network progressively:
Code (Text):
Generation Request
|
v
Incremental Planning
|
v
Limited Queue
|
v
Block Placement
|
v
Next Segment
The main performance settings are:
Code (Text):
settings:
blocks-per-tick: 1400
planning-queue-multiplier: 2
Code (Text):
/prosewers status
Code (Text):
/prosewers cancel
Code (Text):
/prosewers generate all
/prosewers generate all confirm
World Safety
ProSewers includes multiple protections designed to reduce accidental damage to important server builds.
- Protected materials
- TileEntity protection
- Allowed-world restrictions
- Optional WorldGuard integration
- Tunnel distance validation
- Slope validation
TileEntity protection can prevent the generator from replacing blocks such as:
- Chests
- Barrels
- Signs
- Spawners
- Other special TileState blocks
WorldGuard is optional.
If installed and enabled, ProSewers can respect protected regions while generating tunnels.
Trusted administrators can optionally receive safety bypass permissions.

Undo / Redo
ProSewers keeps generation history in memory.
Undo:
Code (Text):
/prosewers undo
Code (Text):
/prosewers redo
Example:
Code (Text):
settings:
history-limit: 15
history-max-blocks: 250000
This prevents a huge generation from consuming excessive server memory.
Undo / Redo history resets after a server restart.
World backups are still recommended before major network generation.

- Stop your server.
- Place the JAR inside the /plugins folder.
- Start the server.
- Edit:
Code (Text):
plugins/ProSewers/config.yml
- Use:
Code (Text):
/prosewers reload
