Turn your Minecraft server into a living wizard's world.

Alkatraz is a premium Bukkit/Spigot magic plugin that adds a complete wizardry RPG to Minecraft. Code-cast 30 unique spells, climb 9 Magic Circles, research ancient power, and duel custom mobs that cast spells right back at you.


In 30 Seconds

1. Craft a Wand — Lapis Lazuli + Stick = Wooden Wand
2. Equip it — Hold it in your main hand
3. Cast — Right-click 5 times fast → Magic Missile
4. Progress — Every cast earns Arcane Knowledge. Climb circles. Unlock devastation.

That's it. You're a wizard now.


Progression
Cast spells → earn Arcane Knowledge → advance Magic Circles (I–IX) → unlock bigger mana pools, faster regen, and stat points → spend Research Points in the Research Tree for permanent perks → unlock capstone powers.

Circle I → 300 AK → +5 Mana, +1 Regen, 1 Stat Point
Circle V → 15,566 AK → +25 Mana, +3 Regen, 3 Stat Points
Circle IX → 474,531 AK → +50 Mana, +5 Regen, 5 Stat Points

Every circle upgrade triggers a visual and audio spectacle — spiralling purple particles, enchanting sounds, and a surge of power.


Your Magic, Your Way

• Dual casting modes: Code-casting (5-click gestures) or hotbar (click-to-cast)
• Per-spell configuration: Speed, size, damage, effects — tweak everything
• Elemental affinities: Invest stat points to specialise (or stay balanced)
• Mastery system: Grind a spell to max level for faster casting
• Research capstones: 7 capstone powers (1 per element + Magic) with unique permanent bonuses

The World Fights Back
Custom mobs spawn naturally, wielding the same spells you do:

• Zombie Mage — Keeps distance, casts Fireball and Earth Spike
• Skeletal Mage — Ranged caster that turns invisible
• Zombie Fighter — Buffs itself with Speed + Strength and rushes you

Each has elemental affinities and weaknesses. Learn their resistances. Exploit their gaps.


For Server Admins

• Drop-in install: Drop the jar in plugins/, restart.
• Zero required config and dependencies: Sensible defaults out of the box.
• Full YAML config: Spell values, mob stats, progression curves, tutorial flow.
• Permissions: Granular control over commands, spells, and features.
• Multi-version: Same jar works on 1.19 → 1.21+ (including v26).
