DE-ShopkeepersBridge — Shopkeepers Economy Integration for DiamondEconomy
◆ DE-ShopkeepersBridge
Shopkeepers integration for DiamondEconomy — automatic supply tracking through every trade.
Shopkeepers integration for DiamondEconomy — automatic supply tracking through every trade.
What is this?
DE-ShopkeepersBridge is an official add-on for DiamondEconomy that connects it to Shopkeepers. Every admin shop trade involving diamonds is automatically reflected in the server's diamond supply — no manual adjustments, no Vault, no configuration required.
How It Works
The bridge listens to Shopkeepers' ShopkeeperTradeEvent and applies the correct supply change based on the shop type and trade direction:
- Admin shop — player buys with diamonds — Diamonds leave the player's inventory and disappear into the admin shop. They are gone from the economy. Supply decreases.
- Admin shop — player sells and receives diamonds — Diamonds are created from nothing by the admin shop and handed to the player. New diamonds enter the economy. Supply increases.
- Player-to-player shop — diamonds change hands — One player loses diamonds, another gains the same amount. Net supply is unchanged. Ignored entirely.
This matches exactly how DiamondEconomy already thinks about supply — diamonds entering or leaving circulation is what matters, not diamonds moving between players.
Spoiler: Example scenario
Server has 5,000 diamonds in supply.
Player buys an Elytra from an admin shop for 1,152 diamonds.
→ Bridge detects: admin shop trade, diamonds given = 1,152
→ DiamondEconomy records: −1,152◆ (Shop Purchase)
→ New supply: 3,848 diamonds
Player sells 64 raw diamonds to an admin shop.
→ Bridge detects: admin shop trade, diamonds received = 64
→ DiamondEconomy records: +64◆ (Shop Sale)
→ New supply: 3,912 diamonds
Player sells an Elytra to another player's shop for 500 diamonds.
→ Bridge detects: player shop — ignored
→ Supply unchanged: 3,912 diamonds

Features
- Zero configuration — Drop both plugins in and it works. No config files, no API keys, no Vault.
- Admin shop awareness — Only admin shops affect supply. Player shops are correctly ignored to avoid phantom supply changes.
- Diamond and Diamond Block support — Tracks raw diamonds and diamond blocks (counted as 9 diamonds each). Diamond tools and armor in trades are ignored.
- Full audit trail — Every shop trade that affects supply is recorded in DiamondEconomy's CSV audit log with context showing it came from a shop.
- Trade sync command — Admins can run /deconomyadmin shopkeepers sync to view a summary of how many diamonds have flowed through shops since the server started.
- Verbose logging support — When DiamondEconomy's verbose mode is on, every shop trade that affects supply prints to console and in-game admin chat in real time.
- Soft dependency — If Shopkeepers is not installed, the bridge silently does nothing. DiamondEconomy continues working normally.
