Overview
RestrainingOrder is a lightweight, exploit-proof plugin designed for survival servers (SMPs). It gives players a non-intrusive tool to defend themselves against harassment, trolling, or stalking.
When activated, the plugin utilizes vector math to smoothly push the targeted player away if they enter a restricted radius. It uses velocity vectors instead of teleportation for the main shield, avoiding the calculation lag typically associated with safe-block finding.
Features
- Targeted Protection: Players choose exactly who they want to block.
- Anti-Stuck / PvP Exploit Prevention: Intelligent emergency teleport system. If an intruder attempts to force their way through the shield in an enclosed space for more than 1.25 seconds, they are safely teleported to the highest surface block.
- Smooth Physics: Bounces invaders away smoothly.
- Audio Feedback: Plays a sound cue for both players when the forcefield is triggered.
- Bilingual Support: Configuration available natively in English and Portuguese.
Commands
- /restrain <player> - Toggles the restraining order against a specific player.
(Aliases: /proteger, /ro)
Permissions
- No specific permissions required. By default, all players have access to the base command to protect themselves.
Configuration & Setup
1. Drop the `RestrainingOrder.jar` into your `plugins` folder and restart the server.
2. The plugin will generate a `config.yml` file.
3. You can edit the `config.yml` to change the shield radius and select the language (English 'en' or Portuguese 'pt').
Example config.yml:
language: 'en'
radius: 5.0
Requirements & Dependencies
- Dependencies: None (Standalone plugin).
- Soft-Dependencies: None.
- Compatibility: Works natively on Bukkit, Spigot, and Paper from version 1.13 up to 1.21+.
