PerfSoulBound
Bind the item in your main hand to a player via PersistentDataContainer. Only the owner can use it as intended—others get blocked from interact, combat, projectiles, buckets, fishing, shears, armor stands, inventory moves, swaps, pickups, and more. Soulbound items cannot be dropped ( owner included). MiniMessage lore shows who the item is bound to.

- Owner-only usage — broad event coverage so bound gear cannot be abused by other players.
- No dropping — PlayerDropItemEvent cancelled for soulbound stacks (prevents trading item loss by mistake—unbind with /soulbound delete when allowed).
- Bypass — perfsoulbound.bypass skips restrictions for staff/testing.
- Configurable lore — lore-format and bound-text with {player} placeholder in config.yml.
Commands
- /soulbound (player) — soulbind main-hand item to that player (offline allowed if they have joined before; target must exist) (perfsoulbound.use).
- /soulbound delete — remove binding from main-hand item if you are the owner (perfsoulbound.use or perfsoulbound.delete); staff can unbind any held soulbound item with perfsoulbound.admin.
- /soulbound check — show owner name/UUID and whether you own the held item (no extra permission; player-only).
- /perfsoulbound reload — reload config and messages (perfsoulbound.admin).
- /perfsoulbound help — admin usage (perfsoulbound.admin).
Permissions
- perfsoulbound.use — bind items and delete own bindings (default false).
- perfsoulbound.delete — delete bindings without perfsoulbound.use (default false).
- perfsoulbound.bypass — skip all soulbound checks (default op).
- perfsoulbound.admin — /perfsoulbound and unbind any item in hand (default op).
