Manage Tools

Overview

ManageTools is a Minecraft plugin designed to restrict the use of tools (Pickaxes, Axes, and Shovels) to specific WorldGuard regions. Once a region is assigned, those tools will only work inside it — blocked everywhere else, including the overworld and community mines.

This also applies to OP players and those with the * permission node.

Commands

• /mt menu Opens an interactive GUI with all available plugin utilities.
• /mt bypass Toggles the plugin restriction for the executing player. Bypass is removed upon re-running the command or restarting the server.
• /mt reload Reloads the plugin configuration, applying any changes made to messages.yml without restarting the server.

Permissions

• managetools.admin — Grants access to all plugin commands and features.

Use Case Example

Imagine you're hosting an in-game event where players receive tools with high-level enchantments. Once the event ends, those tools could be carried into normal gameplay areas — breaking your server's economy or unbalancing shared resources like community mines.

With ManageTools, you simply assign your event region, and those tools will only function within that region.
