AIMapArt is a lightweight, feature-rich Spigot plugin that seamlessly integrates AI image generation into your Minecraft server. It allows players to transform text prompts into stunning in-game Map Art using OpenAI's DALL-E 3.
Designed for performance and ease of use, AIMapArt supports multiple grid formats, provides an interactive GUI gallery, and ensures your creations persist across server restarts.
Core Features
- AI Generation on Demand: Generate unique artwork directly in-game using the /aiart command.
- Flexible Formats: Create art in various sizes: 1x1, 2x1 (wide), 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 grids.
- Interactive Image Gallery: Use the GUI (/aiart list) to browse previously generated images and restore them with a single click.
- Smart Storage: Supports both Flat-File and SQLite databases.
- Seamless Persistence: Automatically restores all Map Art content after server restarts or world reloads.
- Multi-Language Support: Full localization support for English (en) and German (de).
- Player Limits & Controls: Configurable daily generation limits per player to manage API costs and prevent spam.
How to Use
1. Generate: Use /aiart <size> <prompt> (e.g., /aiart 2x2 a tree). You will receive the maps in your inventory.
2. Gallery: Open the gallery with /aiart list to see all generated images on the server.
3. Restore: Select an image from the GUI or use /aiart restore <filename>, then click on an item frame to apply the art.
4. Admin: Use /aiart reload to refresh the configuration, language files, and force-update all maps in the world.
Permissions & Configuration
- LuckPerms Ready: Fine-grained permissions for generating, listing, restoring, and bypassing limits (aimapart.generate, aimapart.list, aimapart.restore, aimapart.limit.bypass, aimapart.admin).
- Fully Configurable: Customize the OpenAI model (DALL-E 3 recommended), image quality, daily limits, and every single chat message or GUI title via the language files.
Technical Requirements
- OpenAI API Key: Requires a valid OpenAI API key (openaiApiKey in config.yml).
- Spigot/Paper: Compatible with Minecraft 1.16 and newer.
