Are your players constantly getting stuck on tiles, carpets, or the thousands of details on your server? With AutoStep, forget about Minecraft's clunky "auto-jump". This plugin allows players to walk up full blocks smoothly and seamlessly, drastically improving exploration and comfort.
Main Features
- Native & Lag-Free Movement: Uses the new native Minecraft attributes (1.20.5+). Forget about rubberbanding or visual bugs from older plugins.
- Smart Saving (PDC): The plugin remembers each player's preference natively. If a player enables smooth step and disconnects, it will remain active when they rejoin.
- WorldGuard Support: Includes a custom flag (autostep). You can disable smooth stepping in specific areas. Using /rg flag <region> autostep deny.
- Tactical Pause (Sneak): If players need precision, they just need to sneak (Shift), and AutoStep will temporarily pause.
- 100% Configurable: Adjust the maximum step height and translate all messages to your liking.
Installation
- Ensure your server is running on Paper/Spigot 1.20.5 or higher.
- Download the AutoStep.jar file.
- Place it inside your server's plugins/ folder.
- Install WorldGuard (OPTIONAL).
- Restart your server to generate the configuration file.
Commands & Permissions
- /autostep - Toggles your own smooth step.
Permission: autostep.use - /autostep <player> - Toggles smooth step for another player.
Permission: autostep.admin - /autostep reload - Reloads the configuration file.
