EterniaGraves
EterniaGraves is a death recovery plugin for Paper/Spigot Minecraft servers. When a player dies, their inventory and experience are preserved in a grave at the death location. Players can return to retrieve their belongings before the grave expires.
Features
- Automatic grave creation on player death with full inventory and XP storage
- Multiple display modes — physical blocks (chest + sign), holograms, or both
- Grave protection — only the owner (or admins) can loot; blocks are shielded from explosions and unauthorized breaking
- Configurable despawn — graves expire after a set time, either dropping items or deleting them
- Teleportation — teleport directly to your graves with configurable warmup and cooldown
- Per-player grave limits — oldest graves are automatically removed when the cap is exceeded
- WorldGuard integration — respects region protection with configurable fallback behavior
- DecentHolograms integration — floating text displays showing player name, death time, cause, item count, and XP
- Localization support — all messages are configurable via language files

DecentHolograms [Optional] Enables hologram display above graves. Falls back to physical-only mode if absent.
WorldGuard [Optional] Enables region-aware grave behavior. Builds everywhere if absent.

How It Works
Grave Creation
- A player with the eternia.graves.grave permission dies
- The plugin collects dropped items and calculates the XP to store
- If the death location is in a WorldGuard-protected region, the configured fallback behavior is applied
- A physical grave (chest + wall sign) and/or hologram is placed at the death location
- The player receives a message with the grave coordinates and an optional teleport link
Right-click the grave chest or sign to loot it. All items are added to your inventory; anything that doesn't fit is dropped at your feet. Stored XP is returned to you and a pickup sound is played.
