Requirements

- Minecraft Server: Paper 1.21+ or Spigot 1.21+
- Java 21
- Discord Bot Token

Installation

1. Download the latest release from Spigot.
2. Place `ZetaWhitelist.jar` in your server's `plugins` folder.
3. Start your server to generate the default config.
4. Stop the server.
5. Configure the plugin. (see Configuration section)
6. Start your server again.

Discord Bot Setup

1. Go to [Discord Developer Portal] https://discord.com/developers/applications( https://discord.com/developers/applications)
2. Create a new application
3. Go to the **Bot** section and create a bot
4. Enable these Privileged Gateway Intents:
- Server Members Intent
- Message Content Intent
5. Copy the bot token
6. Go to **OAuth2 → URL Generator**
7. Select scopes: `bot` and `applications.commands`
8. Select permissions:
- Read Messages/View Channels
- Send Messages
- Manage Messages
- Embed Links
- Read Message History
- Use Slash Commands
9. Copy the generated URL and invite the bot to your server

## Configuration

1. Copy `config.example.yml` to `config.yml` (or rename the auto-generated one)
2. Fill in your Discord bot token and server IDs:

How to get Discord IDs

1. Enable Developer Mode in Discord (User Settings → Advanced → Developer Mode)
2. Right-click on your server → Copy ID (guild-id)
3. Right-click on channels → Copy ID (channel IDs)
4. Right-click on roles → Copy ID (staff role ID)

Customize Questions

The first question **must** be the Minecraft username!

Minecraft Commands

**`/whitelist <subcommand>`** - Main whitelist command
- `add <player>` - Add player to whitelist
- `remove <player>` - Remove player from whitelist
- `on` - Enable whitelist
- `off` - Disable whitelist
- `list` - Show all whitelisted players
- `status` - Show whitelist status

**`/zetawhitelist <subcommand>`** - Advanced commands
- `reload` - Reload configuration
- `pending` - Show pending applications
- `info <username>` - Show application details

Permission: `zetawhitelist.admin` (default: op)

### Discord Commands

**`/whitelist sendmessage`** - Send the whitelist request message in the channel

**`/whitelist add <player>`** - Add a player to the whitelist

**`/whitelist remove <player>`** - Remove a player from the whitelist

**`/whitelist on`** - Enable the whitelist

**`/whitelist off`** - Disable the whitelist

**`/whitelist list`** - Show all whitelisted players

**`/whitelist status`** - Show whitelist status

*Note: All Discord commands require the configured staff role*

## How It Works

1. **Player Request**: Player clicks the "Request Whitelist" button in Discord
2. **DM Questions**: Bot sends questions via DM
3. **Staff Review**: Application appears in the review channel with Accept/Reject buttons
4. **Automatic Whitelist**: When accepted, player is automatically added to the whitelist
5. **Notification**: Player receives a DM with the result

## Customization

Every message and embed in the plugin can be customized in `config.yml`:

- Embed titles, descriptions, colors, footers
- Button labels
- DM messages
- Success/error messages
- Discord command responses
- Kick message for non-whitelisted players

## Cracked Server Support

This plugin is designed to work perfectly with cracked servers! The whitelist system uses player names instead of UUIDs, making it compatible with both premium and cracked Minecraft accounts.
