MobCollector

What is MobCollector?

MobCollector transforms ordinary hoppers into intelligent mob collection devices. Simply create a Mob Collector hopper, place it anywhere in your world, and watch as it automatically teleports nearby mobs of your chosen type onto the hopper, kills them, and collects their drops directly into its inventory. No more messy farms, no more complicated redstone contraptions, just efficient, automated mob farming.

Perfect for survival, skyblock, factions or any gameplay where you want streamlined mob farming without breaking immersion. Each collector is configured for a specific mob type and can only exist once per chunk per mob type to prevent abuse.

• Type-Specific Collection - Each hopper collects only one type of mob (Cow, Zombie, Creeper, etc.)
  
• Automatic Teleportation - Mobs are automatically teleported onto the hopper within the chunk
• Drop Collection - Kills mobs and collects all drops directly into the hopper inventory
• Chunk Limitation - Only one collector per mob type per chunk to prevent server lag
• Custom Display Names - Hoppers show which mob type they collect with colored names and enchantment glint
• Change Collector Type - Right-click a placed collector with a spawn egg to change its mob type
• Permission-Based - Full control over who can create, place, and break collectors
• Persistent Data - Collectors are saved and restored across server restarts
• Allows raiding - Ignores mobs spawned from eggs to allow raiding

How to use?

1. Get a Mob Collector - Use /mc get <mob-type> <amount> to obtain a collector hopper.
   ◦ Example: /mc get COW 1 gives you a Cow Mob Collector
2. Place the Collector - Place the hopper anywhere in your world (requires mobcollector.place permission)
3. Watch It Work - The collector will automatically:
   ◦ Teleport nearby mobs of the specified type onto the hopper
   ◦ Disable mob AI and gravity
   ◦ Kill mobs one at a time (every second)
   ◦ Collect all drops into the hopper inventory
4. Change Mob Type (Optional) - Right-click a placed collector with any spawn egg to change which mob it collects
   
5. Break to Retrieve - Breaking the collector returns the special hopper item (requires mobcollector.break permission)

Commands:

• /mobcollector or /mc - Main command
• /mc get <mob-type> <amount> - Get mob collectors for yourself
• /mc give <player> <mob-type> <amount> - Give mob collectors to another player

Permissions:

• mobcollector.command - Access to the main command
• mobcollector.get - Create collectors for yourself
• mobcollector.give - Give collectors to other players
• mobcollector.place - Place mob collector hoppers
• mobcollector.break - Break mob collector hoppers
