Running a server is hard work. Managing player reports shouldn't be. AdvancedReportSystem completely overhauls the reporting experience, replacing clunky chat commands with intuitive GUIs and introducing a professional Claim & Review workflow for your staff team.
Whether it's a kill-aura hacker or chat toxicity, your staff will have the tools to track, claim, investigate, and resolve issues without stepping on each other's toes.
• Key Features
1. The Reporting Experience
Players simply type /report and are greeted with a clean category selector.
2. Context Matters
If reporting for Chat Misconduct, the player specifies the context (Public vs Private).
3. Staff Management GUI
Staff view a master list of reports. Statuses are clearly visible (Pending vs Claimed).
4. The Details & Claiming
Staff can open a report to see details, evidence, and recent messages. They can Claim the report to start working on it.
5. Resolution
Once investigated, staff can Accept (punish) or Deny (false alarm) the report.

Q: Reports aren't saving?
A: Ensure the plugin has write permission to the folder and that your server isn't locking the reports.yml file.

Q: How do I change the messages?
A: All messages are located in the messages section of your config.yml. You can translate them or change the color codes to match your server theme.

• Key Features
- GUI-Driven Experience: No more confusing arguments. Players use a simple GUI to select categories, add details, and submit reports.
- Professional Staff Workflow:
- Claim System: Staff "claim" a report to lock it. This prevents two mods from investigating the same player at the same time.
- Takeover: Senior staff (with permissions) can override claims if a junior mod is unavailable.
- Release: Need to log off? Release the report back to the pool for other staff.
- Smart Evidence Handling:
- Supports URL whitelisting (Imgur, YouTube, etc.) to prevent malicious links.
- Staff must click "Show Evidence" to see links, preventing accidental clicks.
- Context Aware:
- Chat Misconduct: Smart selector asks if the incident was in Public Chat or Private Messages.
- Offline Notifications: If you resolve a report while the reporter is offline, they get a tidy notification the next time they join.
- Live Notifications: Action bar and chat alerts keep staff updated instantly.

• How It Works
- Player Reports: A user types /report, picks a category, enters a reason, and optionally pastes an evidence link (e.g., Imgur).
- Staff Notified: Online staff receive an alert.
- Claiming: A staff member opens /reports, clicks the report, and clicks Claim. The report is now locked to them.
- Investigation: The staff member uses the Teleport button to observe the suspect or clicks the Evidence link to view the provided proof.
- Action:
- Accept: Valid report. The reporter is notified (now or on next login).
- Deny: Invalid report.
- Take Over: A Head-Mod can force-claim a report if the original claimer went AFK.
Extra Permissions:
- reportsystem.higherups — Allows users to Take Over reports claimed by others (useful for Admins/Senior Mods).
