Experience a realistic snow-filled world where players must stay warm or face deadly blizzards, while randomly spawned care packages give valuable loot to help them survive.
FEATURES
Snow
- Gradually accumulate snow layers in your world.
- Realistic blizzards that force players to seek heat sources like CAMPFIRES, TORCHES, LANTERNS, and CANDLES.
- Players who fail to stay warm take damage over time during a blizzard.
- Configurable snow spread speed and blizzard intensity.
- Randomly spawned care packages with customizable loot.
- Visual markers: FALLING CHEST ANIMATION, PARTICLES, and SOUND EFFECTS.
- Care packages automatically disappear if not opened or after a set timer.
- Loot items can be fully configured in config.yml.
- Heat sources are critical: TORCHES, LANTERNS, CAMPFIRES, FIRE, LAVA, and CANDLES.
- Wear FULL LEATHER ARMOR to be safe in blizzards.
- Blizzards are dangerous; players need to strategically survive.
- Fully configurable in config.yml
- Customize:
- Blizzard frequency
- Snow accumulation speed
- Care package spawn chances
- Loot items & amounts
- Blizzard frequency
- Place Lightsnow.jar in your server plugins folder
- Start the server to generate default config
- Edit config.yml if needed
- Reload or restart the server to apply changes
- Use /lightsnow enable to START THE PLUGIN!

- Compatible with Minecraft 1.20+ (Java 17)
- Use cautiously on large worlds; heavy snow accumulation may cause lag if not tuned
