PowerlessLamps and was originally developed based on the approach of
PowerlessLampsRedux. Unlike that implementation however, this plugin changes a lightable's state without triggering a block update to the neighboring blocks, allowing for more robust and permanent lighting setups. This plugin integrates with WorldEdit and WorldGuard to allow the user to toggle or turn on/off all lamps/bulbs within a selection and restrict usage of the plugin in certain regions.
On a basic level, the plugin allows users that have the appropriate permission to right-click a lightable block to toggle its state. Additionally, there are commands available to interface with the user's WorldEdit selection.
/lamp and /lamps are aliases.
This plugin has WorldEdit and WorldGuard as dependencies, currently there is no option to use it as a standalone tool.
The plugin depends on paperweight and NMS components, so compatibility may break with major version updates.
Usage
On a basic level, the plugin allows users that have the appropriate permission to right-click a lightable block to toggle its state. Additionally, there are commands available to interface with the user's WorldEdit selection.
Commands
/lamp and /lamps are aliases.
- /lamp toggle - Toggle the state of all lightables within the current WorldEdit selection
- /lamp on - Turn on all lightables within the current WorldEdit selection
- /lamp off - Turn off all lightables within the current WorldEdit selection
- /lamp reload - Reloads the config, currently only used to enable/disable permission requirements
WorldGuard Flags
- powerlesslamps-allowed - Restricts usage of the right-click toggle in a region
Permissions
- lamps.reload - Allows the user to reload the config
- lamps.toggle - Allows the user to use the basic right-click toggle functionality
- lamps.worldedit - Allows the user to utilize the WorldEdit integration
- lamps.bypass - Allows the user to bypass WorldGuard restrictions for plugin usage
Installation/Dependencies
To install PowerlessLampsRelit, download the latest release and place the JAR file in your server plugins folder and restart your server.
This plugin has WorldEdit and WorldGuard as dependencies, currently there is no option to use it as a standalone tool.
