his plugin is a fork of the original AutoRespawnPlus by iShadey, which has been abandoned. Our version revitalizes the project with modern code, enhanced customization, and support for the latest Minecraft versions.

Please note that there is currently no dedicated support for troubleshooting the plugin, although such support may become available in the future.

Overview
AutoRespawnPlus is a Bukkit/Spigot plugin that automatically respawns players on your Minecraft server when they die. The plugin has been updated to support the latest Minecraft API (1.21), includes full tab-completion for commands, and offers increased customization through separate configuration files. It also features an update checker, modernized code, and several performance improvements.

New and Enhanced Features

• Automatic Respawn: Instantly respawn players after death if they have the proper permission.
• Configurable Delay: Set a delay (in ticks) before a player is respawned.
• World Restrictions: Define a list of worlds where auto-respawn is disabled.
• Enhanced Effects: Enable particle and sound effects during respawn.
• Command Tab-Completion: Newly added tab-complete support for all subcommands, making it easier for players to use commands.
• Greater Customization: All settings and messages are separated into settings.yml and messages.yml, allowing complete control over the plugin’s behavior and messages.
• Update Checker & Modern Code: The plugin checks for updates and uses modern Java HTTP client features, ensuring compatibility with the latest Minecraft versions.
• Permissions: Granular permissions let you control which users can execute specific commands.

Installation

1. Download: Place the AutoRespawnPlus JAR file into your server’s plugins folder.
2. Configuration Files:
   On first run, the plugin creates two configuration files in its data folder:
   • settings.yml – Contains all general settings (respawn delay, world restrictions, effects, update options, etc.).
   • messages.yml – Contains all player messages, command help texts, and error notifications.
3. Restart: Restart your server so that the plugin can load and generate these files.

Configuration

• settings.yml:
  This file allows you to adjust core plugin functionality such as enabling/disabling auto-respawn, setting delays, defining blocked worlds, configuring effects, and more.
  
  
• messages.yml:
  Customize all messages displayed to players, including update notifications, command usage help, and error messages. Messages support Minecraft color codes.
  

Commands
The main command is /autorespawnplus (with alias /arp). Available subcommands include:

• help: Display the help page.
• enable: Enable auto-respawn.
• disable: Disable auto-respawn.
• toggle: Toggle auto-respawn on or off.
• check: Check if a new plugin update is available.
• update: Update the plugin (if auto-update isn’t enabled, you can force an update).
• reload: Reload the configuration files (settings.yml and messages.yml).

Permissions
Permissions use the format autorespawnplus.<subcommand>. For example:

• autorespawnplus.help
• autorespawnplus.enable
• autorespawnplus.disable
• autorespawnplus.toggle
• autorespawnplus.check
• autorespawnplus.update
• autorespawnplus.reload
