Ride Minecarts through portals!
Note: This plugin's functionality is now already implemented natively in Minecraft 1.21 and above.
But you can use this plugin to emulate the same behaviour in older versions
Improve your interdimensional railway systems with this small plugin:
Just place rails right up to the portal in both worlds to ride your minecraft from the overworld to the nether (and back!) instantly.
A much more convenient way to travel than having to dismount, collect the minecart, wait for the portal animation, place the minecart again, …
This works by briefly dismounting the passenger (player or entity) of an occupied minecart before it hits a portal block, allowing the empty minecart to enter the portal according to native mechanics.
After the minecart appeared in the other world, the previous passenger gets immediately teleported and remounted again, enabling a smooth and fast ride through portals.
Configuration:
- Reset how long before a minecart can use a portal again after leaving one.
In vanilla this is 15 seconds, here you can set it as short as you want! (default is 60 ticks = 3 seconds)
