GcGo Mod is a server-side utility mod that focuses on reducing memory usage after the server finishes loading. During startup, many mods allocate large amounts of data, some of which becomes unnecessary once initialization is complete. GcGo addresses this by automatically triggering a garbage collection process after startup to clean up unused memory.
