Cobblemon Boss Mod add and customize Boss Pokémon through datapack JSON files and generated TOML configs. Boss definitions use required identifiers (unique_id, display_name, species_id) and optional modules that control spawn rules, reward rules, punish rules and randomized battle builds.

Adds support for creating and customizing Boss Pokémon via datapack JSON files
Allows adding unlimited custom Boss configurations (as stated)
Boss JSON required fields: unique_id
- Boss JSON required fields: display_name (supports § color codes and symbols)
- Boss JSON required fields: species_id
spawn_rule module for controlling spawn locations, times, biomes, and spawn weight
Time enums and tick ranges are defined (early_morning through midnight)
Spawn location enums are defined (land, water_surface, underwater, sky, cave, lava surface)
reward_rule module for boss defeat rewards
- Rewards can be item-based with counts
- Rewards can be command-based (as stated)
- Rewards support fixed probabilities (chance)
punish_rule module for punishments
- Punishment system can be enabled/disabled in config (as stated)
- Punishment probability is configurable (as stated)
- Global punishment probability can apply when not set per rule (as stated)
- Punishment chance increases with player level when using global probability (as stated)
- Punishments can include level changes, EV changes, IV changes, and command effects (as shown in the example)
random_configs module for random battle attribute sets
Boss selects one configuration set on spawn (as stated)
- Supports shiny flag per config set
- Supports EV distribution per config set (single stat ≤ 252; total EVs ≤ 510)
- Supports fixed 4-move sets per config set
- Supports nature, ability, form, and held items per config set
Two boss level generation systems are described
