SCP 1529 Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – King Of The Mountain

SCP 1529 Mod adds The King of the Mountain, also called SCP-1529, a scary creature that lives on high, snowy mountain peaks. The creature stays still and dormant until you climb too high, then it slowly walks toward you. Getting close to SCP-1529 is very dangerous. It freezes you in place with its glowing eyes and kills you through hypothermia. Only one King of the Mountain can exist in your world at a time, making every mountain climb a deadly risk.

Features:

• SCP-1529 spawns on snowy slopes, frozen peaks, and jagged peaks above Y-level 120
• Only one SCP-1529 can exist in the world at a time
• Stays completely still and dormant when no players are within 30 blocks
• Sometimes stares at players from a distance
• Starts moving toward players who are within 20 blocks, or within 80 blocks at night, or within 40 blocks during the day (all above Y-level 120)
• Cannot take fall damage and doesn’t sink in powder snow
• Can climb walls up to 8 blocks tall
• When within 20 blocks, becomes hostile and starts freezing, weakening, and slowing you
• Locks its glowing eyes onto you, forcing eye contact
• At very close range, stops moving and shows the message “You would refuse my gift?”
• Kills you through hypothermia while you’re frozen in place
• If you have more than 10 health and attack it with strong hits, it disappears in cold mist
• Immune to most environmental damage
