ASM Fixes Mod is a technical stability mod. It does not add new items, mobs, or gameplay features. Its purpose is to improve game stability and reduce unnecessary errors when using multiple mods.
Features:
- Prevent crashes caused by Potion ID mismatches
- In modded Minecraft, each potion effect uses an internal ID.
- If the client and server have different mods or load orders, these IDs can become mismatched.
- This mismatch may cause the client to crash when receiving a potion effect.
- ASM Fixes prevents the crash and allows the game to continue running.
- Reduce unnecessary console warnings
- Some mods (such as those using the Numina library) generate repeated warning messages.
- Example:
[WARNING: unlocalizedName is deprecated; please use registryName or itemStackName instead!]- These warnings are usually harmless but clutter the log files.
- ASM Fixes filters or suppresses these messages to keep logs cleaner and easier to read.
