The Scarecrow Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Burning Face Stalker

The Scarecrow Mod adds a night-time stalker mob that watches players from a distance and becomes dangerous when provoked. It creates a tense horror experience with minions, special effects, and repeated encounters.

Features:

• Adds the entity Scarecrow
• Looks harmless by day, active at night
• Appears near fields and open areas
• Focuses on stalking behavior instead of constant chasing

Night Behavior

• Activates after sunset
• Moves slowly and watches players from range
• Water may freeze near it
• Looking at it too long or getting too close can trigger reactions:
  • Despawn with surprise effects
  • Spawn helper mobs
  • Become aggressive

Aggressive State

• Face appears burning when enraged
• Can break blocks such as wood, glass, crops, and cobblestone
• Attacks may:
  • Ignite players
  • Cause blindness
• Summons support mobs to assist in combat

Low Health Power Boost

• At low health, soul flames appear around it
• Gains higher strength and resistance

Minions

• Pumplin
  • Small and fast attackers
  • Low health and damage
  • Dangerous in groups
• Crow
  • Fast flying mob
  • Hostile but fragile
  • Often appears with the Scarecrow

Special Variants

• Soulless Scarecrow can generate in field structures
• This variant has no AI and does not move or attack

Respawn Rule

• Defeating one does not guarantee safety
• A new Scarecrow may appear later in another location
