SCP-3456 Orcadian Horseman Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Death Summons The Hunter

SCP-3456 Orcadian Horseman Mod introduces a punishment-based horror creature inspired by the SCP universe. This monster appears only when a player dies too many times, turning death itself into a dangerous mechanic. SCP-3456 is designed to stalk, ambush, and eliminate careless players, becoming more threatening as deaths increase.

Features:

• General Behavior
  • Spawns on the overworld surface at night.
  • Only appears after a player has died 3 times or more.
  • Extremely fast, powerful, and immune to projectiles.
  • Primarily targets players with high death counts.
• Stealth and Ambush
  • Becomes invisible when the target is farther than 30 blocks.
  • Reappears silently when close enough to attack.
  • During rain or thunderstorms, it can hide underground.
  • Strange shadows on the ground may indicate a buried instance.
• Combat Abilities
  • Emits a powerful shriek within 15 blocks:
    • Deals damage
    • Slows the player
    • Shakes the ground
  • Can break blocks such as wood, glass, and leaves.
  • Instantly vanishes when touching water.
  • If it kills an entity, it has a 30% chance to disappear.
• Escalation System
  • After the player’s 5th death, SCP-3456 may place traps.
  • The more often you die, the more dangerous the encounters become.

Gameplay Notes

• SCP-3456 can be force-enabled using EnableOrcadianHorseman ≥ 1.
• It can be disabled or reset by setting EnableOrcadianHorseman = 0.
• Player death count can be reset with /reset_orcadian_horseman.
